Timoth R. Copney is TEDCO’s longest serving employee, having joined the organization in 2000. He has more than 30 years’ experience in office administration. Previously, he has been a Senior Executive Assistant at Bank of America, Wells Fargo Bank, T. Rowe Price, and served as a Division Administrator for Space Telescope. As Office Administrator his duties include management status as supervisor of Administrative Assistants. He is also charged with website maintenance and updates, works in tandem with the Finance Manager to manage all accounts receivables and payables. He supports the President/Chief Operating Officer, and is available for support to the remaining staff as needed. Mr. Copney is responsible for all aspects of daily operation of the office facility for TEDCO, including IT Systems liaison, phone systems, inventory, purchases, new employee orientation and training on TEDCO in-house systems, and vendor contract negotiations and maintenance. Additionally, he assists the Director of Marketing and Community Relations in planning TEDCO events. Timoth is a graduate of Betz Business College and Cincinnati Technical College. He has also attended Miami University and was a dance major at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. A professionally trained dancer, he frequently choreographs and directs local area musical productions, as well as writing a theatre column for local online review site, MD Theatre Guide. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Baltimore Playwrights Festival.
